AKRON, OH - January 15, 2018 – Rod Penfield joins FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company as General Plant Manager at the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Plant located in Shippingport, PA.
Penfield was recruited from Nebraska Public Power District, where he served in senior roles such as Plant Director of Nuclear Safety Assurance and Operations Manager.
Penfield has over 27 years of experience in the commercial nuclear power industry.
