Southern is headquartered in Birmingham, AL and is a leader among the nation’s nuclear energy facility operators as well as an innovator in advanced nuclear technologies.
Shantel Sams has over 9 years of HR experience, with the last 4 being in the nuclear industry. She was recruited from Exelon Generation, where she was the HR Manager of the Dresden Nuclear Power Station. She was responsible for the HR Team that supported 850 employees and partnered with 2 labor unions.
