David Sorrick joins The Electric Power Research Institute, Inc. (EPRI) as Director of Research & Development Generation. EPRI conducts research, development and demonstration projects for the benefit of the public in the U.S. and internationally. 

Jeffrey Lyash, president and CEO of Ontario Power Generation Inc., is named the new president and chief executive officer of the Tennessee River Valley Authority (TVA).

Chuck Kharri, a 25-year nuclear industry veteran, is recruited from Arizona Electric Power to become site vice president of plant for Southern Nuclear Operating Company (Southern Nuclear).

Karen Fili, a 30-year nuclear industry veteran, was appointed president and chief executive officer/managing director of Urenco USA. She joins Urenco from Southern Nuclear Operating Company, where she served as site vice president for Vogtle Units 3 and 4.

Amy Brunson is named director of wealth management at Oakworth Capital Bank, a leading financial service institute. The McAulay Smith Firm recruited Brunson from Bridgeworth Financial. She brings over 15 years of wealth management operational leadership and change management experience.

Sonny Dean is named organizational effectiveness corporate functional area manager at Southern Nuclear Operating Company (Southern Nuclear), a leader among the nation’s commercial nuclear power generation fleets. Dean was recruited from Exelon, which is the largest regulated electric utility and operator of nuclear power plants in the U.S.
