New Hill, NC – June 6, 2022 – McAulay Smith successfully recruited Tom Haaf to be the Site Vice President for a single unit, pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear power generating station located in the Carolinas. Haaf was recruited from his role as Site Vice President at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Plant at Constellation Energy.
Haaf brings over 27 years of experience in the nuclear industry with leadership experience in roles such as Plant Manager of Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant and Three Mile Island Power Station.
Haaf joined the commercial nuclear power industry in 2002 after serving for more than eight years in the U.S. Nuclear Navy. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State College.
