McAulay Smith Recruits SVP & Chief Nuclear Officer

DETROIT, MI, October 9, 2019 - McAulay Smith successfully recruited Pete Dietrich to be the new SVP & Chief Nuclear Officer at DTE Energy, with responsibility for overall operations at Fermi 2.

Bringing nearly three decades of experience in the commercial nuclear industry, Dietrich’s most recent roles were that of Chief Nuclear Officer for the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation and Nawah Energy Company, SVP for Transmission & Distribution and Site Vice President & Chief Nuclear Officer for Southern California Edison.  Prior to those roles, Dietrich held various leadership roles such as Site Vice President and General Manager of Plant Operations.

Dietrich earned a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MBA from Tulane University.
